Stay in LOVE with Christ

Stay in LOVE with Christ

Romans 8: 35 - 37

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall trouble or hardship or persecution
Or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

My prayer for you today

Whatever you are going through, I pray you find comfort in knowing that Jesus Christ died to give you relief.
I pray you find peace in the love Christ has for all of humanity.
I pray you find hope, love, and strength.

Your mercy has saved me

Thank you Abba Father

Genesis 19:19
Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die.

My prayer oh Lord:
Teach me how to show your mercy to those who surround me and help me not to be overtaken by evil. Abba Father, you are my teacher and helper. I cry unto you for help. Amen.

Restoration is still ongoing

Isaiah 40:31

Those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Not complaining but rejoicing

All is going well healthwise. One should really not complain about the little things but learn to deal with each day and enjoy it as it's given.

In response to a complaint (or moaning) from Jeremiah, the Lord answered in Jeremiah 12:5 as follows:
“If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you,
Then how can you contend with horses?
And if in the land of peace,
In which you trusted, they wearied you,
Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?"

I can only pray that I do not have to deal with the horsemen or the floodplain of Jordan but to continually rejoice before the Lord.

Health update

It has been a rather mild winter which is good news for me. The weather has been good and the temperature reasonable. Snow accumulation is just about a metre which is low for this time of the year. While I have enjoyed been able to go out and do things, I hope we don't pay for it later in the year with forest fires.

My health has been on the mend, my breathing is good and my muscles are stronger. My CPK level seems stabilized at about 240. I still can't run to save my life, but I do know when to stop and rest. I'm back to work full time and as always enjoying my work.

God has been faithful and I can only say I've been saved by HIS GRACE.

Merry Christmas

Christmas season is more than just a holiday. It's a time of giving thanks for all the goodness one has received throughout the year. I am truly grateful for my health this past year. I am appreciative of my family and friends, work colleagues, Dr., nurses, pharmacists, and all those who work to support my well being. My heart is full of gratitude. I hope this season brings all of you joy and many blessings as it does for me.

Best wishes and have a wonderful holiday!

A Hymn of Faith

Habakkuk 3: 17 to 19

Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.

The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.

I am dedicating this hymn to a family who had been praying for me while I was very sick. I met the father and one of the daughters yesterday - in conversation, I asked where their mom is, only to find out she passed away last December. That was heartbreaking. She had pancreatic cancer and only lived for 6 months from when she was diagnosed. May her soul rest in peace.
