Afflictions and deliverance

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).

Finally found a Lungs Specialist whose goal is to increase my lung capacity and diffusion rate. I'm glad I did not agree to the open lung biopsy as demanded by the Respirologist. It was not necessary after all. I am still praying and believing God for a miracle, that my lungs be restored to wholeness, and that the scar tissues on them be healed and be reversed. I am also praying that the Holy Spirit will make intercession on my behalf as He does for all saints according to the will of God.

Psalm 34:18 - 20
Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all;
He protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.

God is still God and He is in the business of delivering His people.

Remain in Him!

A tribute to Toks

Dear Toks,

It was a honor to have known you and to have enjoyed some of the blessings you spread while with us. Your passing away from the body, while sad for us both friends and family, means you are now present with the Lord.

When you sang "I can only imagine" a few years ago, it made me reflect not knowing that you were soon to experience that day. I hope the experience was more glorious than you ever imagined.

Rest in peace Toks. You will continue to live in our memories.
RIP beloved friend,

The Hebrew women

The midwives answered Pharaoh, “Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive.” Exodus 1:19

God's miracle is sometimes hard for people in the medical field to comprehend. With a 50% lung capacity and a 30% diffusion rate, my respirologist stated that they overestimated the severity of my condition because I should not be able to do all the things I can do. He, of course, would still like a lung biopsy. Just like the Hebrew women in the days of Exodus, God has made me vigorous and He gives me strength from day to day without the intervention of the respirologist.

Psalm 34:18-20 (King James Version)
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions (troubles) of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.  He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
